Princípios da Ética Médica


   Ética é o conjunto de valores morais e conhecimentos racionais, a respeito do comportamento humano, princípios que norteiam a conduta humana na sociedade. Já a Moral, estabelece regras, e cada pessoa tem o dever de assumi-las para viver bem consigo mesmo e com os outros. O próprio nome distingue as duas, Ética vem do grego “ethos”, que significa modo de ser, e Moral vem do latim “mores”, significando costumes.

    A moral já existe há muito mais tempo, pois todos possuem a consciência Moral que leva a distinguir o bem do mal no contexto que vivemos. A Ética investiga e explica normas morais, pois nos leva a agir não só por tradição, educação ou hábito, mas mais ainda por convicção e inteligência. 

   Ela faz uma reflexão filosófica sobre a moral, procura justificá-la e seu objetivo é guiar e orientar racionalmente a vida humana. A ética e a moral são os maiores valores do homem que possui liberdade; elas se formam numa mesma realidade e ambas significam “respeitar e venerar a vida”.
