Leia um trecho do conto “Moto de mulher”, de Jarid Arraes, para responder à questão.

    Comprei uma Honda que tava na promoção e saí da loja dirigindo. Feliz demais, me sentindo que nem uma passarinha em cima da moto. O vento vem direto na cara, até arde o olho, mas é um sentimento gostoso de quase voar.
      Primeiro eu vesti o colete de mototáxi que guardei por três meses enquanto esperava a oportunidade da moto. Saí pilotando pelo bairro, não andei nem três quarteirões e uma mulher fez sinal com a mão.
     Para aí, mototáxi.
     Parei e ela me olhou assustada quando chegou perto.
     Oxe, e é mulher, é?
    Eu dei um sorrisinho meio troncho. Disse que pois é. Ela montou na garupa e falou que pelo menos ficava mais à vontade pra segurar na minha cintura. Não segurava na cintura de mototáxi homem que era pra não dar liberdade. Eu disse que pois é de novo.
    Fui deixar essa mulher tão longe que eu nem sabia onde era aquilo. Ela foi me ensinando. Parecia que não ia chegar nunca. O sol rachando.
     Quando a gente chegou lá, na frente de uma casa de taipa toda se desmontando, ela perguntou quanto tinha dado a corrida. Eu fiquei pensando por um tempo e ela me olhando impaciente, mas eu tava juntando a cara pra falar que era dez reais. Achando que ela ia reclamar do preço, falei oito, mas ela me entregou o dinheiro e sumiu pra dentro da casa.
     Fiquei tomando coragem pra voltar. Não sabia voltar, na verdade. Fiquei olhando pra todo lado, o celular quase sem sinal. Longe demais, longe de um jeito que nem dez conto pagava. O resumo era, então, a minha burrice. Otária demais, só oito reais. Dirigindo na chinelada, com medo de qualquer cara de macho que aparecia nas calçadas. Eu só achava que iam me roubar. Imagina se levam minha moto zerada…
      Fiquei nessa angústia, duas horas perdida. Até que avistei a estrada de volta pra Matriz. Depois, comecei a reconhecer melhor as casinhas, as cercas, as placas. Entrei de novo na cidade com a maior alegria. Mais feliz do que quando peguei a moto pela primeira vez.
