How did the research team decide to deal with the bears?

Katarzyna Kudłacz called the island’s rangers to safely conduct the bears back to where they came from.

They believe keeping the bears distant is safer for the researchers and the animals, so they fired a flare gun to scare the bears.

Katarzyna Kudłacz called her colleagues who were out in the research fields and they all waited for the bears to go away before returning to the base.

The research leader, Daniel Kępski, had to shoot the bears because they were threatening the team’s safety.

Although the team called the police for help, they thought the bears were not aggressive and encouraged them to explore the base.
