I desagree, Most trade between friendly nations, proceeds smoothly. The question says: The majority of international trade is carried out free of difficulties.

Trade between friendly nations, is one things, but, ALL trades between ALL nations of the world is another thing. You can not generalize !

WTO members = majority of WT. Friendliness is assumed from membership. Moreover, 'friendly' =/= friends with. In Int Pol, it may just mean that parties do not have openly hostile relations (despite, of course, there being a number of foes - and even some warring parties, like Rus an Ukr, in the org.).
